$79.95
Therapy can open the door, but daily discipline keeps the relationship alive. Couples often enter therapy hoping for a breakthrough moment, a single insight that will fix years of pain or disconnection. But real transformation doesn’t happen in the session room – it happens in the small, consistent choices couples make every day.
In Therapy Isn’t Magic: Why Discipline and Daily Rituals Transform Relationships, Chris Cambas, MA, LMFT, explores why growth in marriage requires more than understanding — it requires practice, structure, and repetition.

Therapy Isn’t Magic: Why Discipline and Daily Rituals Transform Relationships
A Live 90-Minute Clinical & Relational Webinar with Chris Cambas, MA, LMFT
Overview
Therapy can open the door — but daily discipline keeps the relationship alive. Couples often enter therapy hoping for a breakthrough moment, a single insight that will fix years of pain or disconnection. But real transformation doesn’t happen in the session room — it happens in the small, consistent choices couples make every day.
In Therapy Isn’t Magic: Why Discipline and Daily Rituals Transform Relationships, Chris Cambas, MA, LMFT, explores why growth in marriage requires more than understanding — it requires practice, structure, and repetition.
This 90-minute live webinar blends neuroscience, attachment science, and practical application to show both couples and clinicians how rituals, consistency, and emotional discipline are the true engines of long-term change.
Because love doesn’t grow through insight alone — it grows through the habits that follow.
What You’ll Learn
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand why insight without action fails to create change, both in therapy and at home.
- Explain the neuroscience of habit formation and how repetition rewires emotional and relational patterns.
- Differentiate between emotional breakthroughs and behavioral transformation.
- Design and implement daily rituals of connection that strengthen love, trust, and intimacy.
- Help couples establish accountability structures that sustain progress between sessions.
- Integrate discipline and ritual practices into therapeutic work to promote long-term outcomes.
- Empower partners to become co-architects of their relationship, not passive consumers of therapy.

About the Presenter
Chris Cambas, MA, LMFT, is a Certified Gottman Therapist and co-founder of CoupleStrong and National Marriage Seminars of America. With over two decades of experience helping couples strengthen and sustain their relationships, Chris has trained thousands of therapists and worked with couples around the world to turn insight into action. His teaching combines research-based interventions, neuroscience, and real-world application, helping partners understand that love is not self-sustaining — it’s self-cultivated.
Chris is known for his compassionate, practical approach that makes emotional growth both achievable and enduring.
Why This Webinar Matters
Insight is only the spark — discipline is the flame that keeps love burning.
Couples don’t transform because of what happens in therapy — they transform because of what they practice afterward. Rituals like morning check-ins, gratitude exercises, or nightly affection are the neural glue that rewires relationships from disconnection to intimacy.
In this training, you’ll discover how to:
- Turn emotional awareness into daily habits of connection.
- Replace inconsistency with ritual and routine.
- Help couples experience therapy as a launchpad — not a lifeline.
Because real change in marriage isn’t magical — it’s methodical.
